We pride ourselves as specialists in our field by providing our customers with a selection of red book commercial valuations and building surveys. Additionally, we are proud to be experts in Commercial Business Evaluations in the Health, Retail and Leisure industry.

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in practice, almost all within the commercial sphere. Having trained at the Inland Revenue Valuation Office, Andrew has worked for a number of public and private practice organisations since, including Rapleys, Bath City Council, TBSV and Countrywide Commercial. Andrew has had a brief period in academia (7 years) where he became Associate Head of Property at the University of the West of England, with responsibility for the design and delivery of all the RICS accredited general practice and building surveying programmes taught there. Elected as a Fellow of the RICS in 2015, Andrew decided to return to commercial private practice, initially with Eddisons Taylors, and is most excited to have become the senior surveyor at Commercial Surveyors Direct.

Peter qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1996. He started his career with the Valuation Office Agency before venturing into the private sector in the late 1990’s, attaining a wealth of experience in the real estate industry. In the past he has advised clients in relation to business rates appeals and undertaken the negotiation of rent reviews and lease renewals, acting for both landlords and tenants. In more recent times he has primarily focused on property valuation, principally in the commercial sector. This includes not only retail, office and industrial premises but he also has specialist knowledge of the healthcare, education and licensed premises markets. He provides valuation advice for a wide range of clients that includes banks, property investment companies, pension funds, solicitors and private individuals.

John has over 30 years property valuation experience working in private practice. Throughout his career he has dealt with retail, office and industrial property as well as development situations. In addition, John has valued specialist properties owned or operated by diverse organisation as The Environment Agency, Thames Water, MoD, various local authorities and statutory bodies. As well as valuation advice John has undertaken the negotiation of rent reviews and lease renewals and the disposal of development land and buildings. Throughout his career he has acted for charities, Trade Unions, Housing Associations as well as lenders.
Julie White – Commercial Administrator
Julie is an experienced administrative officer with over 30 years of admin experience in a variety of posts, from an architect’s firm, to the MOD and more recently 6 ½ years spent working on the frontline in an extremely busy A+E department. She has returned to England from Northern Ireland recently to be closer to family and in her spare time she enjoys travelling and reading crime thrillers.
